We take Wyatt hiking with us. It's quite possibly the only thing that wears him out.

Awww I love spending days off with my pup and kit! I wanted to go hiking yesterday for the long weekend...but family wanted us for dinner instead

we had a bbq and carson got enough loving, pettings, and toys thrown to last him through the end of the year although that won't stop us from petting him like crazy and playing with him whenever he's in the mood (;

When I spend a day off and do something that my dog can't, I feel guilty. Obviously, it doesn't take all day, but I felt horrible this weekend when I went kayaking and my dog couldn't come.

We went hiking in the local park, and she even got to play off-leash with a couple of other dogs.

I wish we could take Wyatt off his leash when we're out and about, but it doesn't work out well at all. I have a feeling he'd take off and never come back! He is definitely faster than both of us.

I usually take my dog out for rides in the car, the dog park or just the park, and out to this little creek by my dad's house.

I always enjoy taking the dogs to the dog park when I have the day off.
Or we love going camping and on hikes when there's actually time.
But, by far, their favorite activity is lounging around, doing absolutely nothing, or chasing each other around the living room.
