Cats tend to do this is they are weaned too early. It becomes a comfort thing for them, like sucking a thumb for a child. I think there are other reasons why it happens, but I have found this to be the case most often. My cat, Gizmo, sucks on my pinky all the time. He also drags around my throw pillows and kneads and sucks on the corners. I think I might get him this pillow and maybe he will leave mine alone!

I found one of my cats when he was about 5 weeks old. We had to bottle feed him, but now, even after 6 years he still thinks I am his mom. He kneads me all the time, tries to suck on my ear lobes and my hair. He will snuggle up to my head and then knead and suck. LoL I will be getting him one of these!!!

I had a kitten that could have really used one of these when I was a kid. She sucked on everything and always hid in the clean laundry basket. It did not make my mom very happy!

That is the weridest Cat item I have ever seen. I guess I have never had a cat behave that way..

Oh, my gosh! My kitten absolutely needs something like this - she sucks on HERSELF and we haven't been able to get her to stop. Maybe I'll try this!
